    H1B and Immigration

Due to the impending Nor'easter, we will have to cancel this month's meeting.  All pre-paid monies will be refunded.

    Speaker:  David Nachman

U.S. businesses use the H-1B visa program to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require the theoretical or practical application of a body of highly-specialized knowledge, including but not limited to: Scientists, Engineers, or Computer Programmers. Do employers now need to recruit U.S. workers?

The presentation will focus the key points of several of different work visas programs (including H1-B, L-1, O-1, & TN) including the Trump Proposals and Executive Orders and changes. Minimum requirements, application process, processing timelines and other nuances associated with these classifications.

Click here to access the registration form.

Please note:  The hotel requires us to provide a headcount the Monday before our meeting. Therefore, the cutoff for early registration is noon on the Monday prior to the meeting.  If payment is received by noon Monday, the cost is the Prepaid cost, if it is received after that, it is the Late cost.
